Opening of School. The public school re-opens
on Monday next, after four weeks' vacation.
Parents will probably not be sorry.
Dec. 20, 1895.
Wyndham.
At the closing of the Wyndham Public School
on Friday, the two competing pupils, Miss
E. Twyford and Miss M. Carveth, were each
presented with a handsome workbox, the respective
gifts of our two local storekeepers...
Apr. 28, 1899.
Wyndham.
The Wyndham annual school picnic was held
on Saturday, on the Honeysuckle Flat.
Jan. 12, 1900.
Wyndham.
Mr. and Mrs. Beare have returned from their
holiday trip up north..... Mr. Beare has
been very ill for some time before going
away, but he hopes to be able to resume his
duties (as teacher of the Wyndham Public
School) on Monday next.
Aug. 3, 1900.
During the absence of Mr. T. Beare, the Wyndham
Public School is in charge of Mr. O'Brien,
teacher at Burragate, the latter school being
temporarily closed.
Dec. 14, 1900
Public schools disband today for six weeks,
reassembling again on 28th Jan. Teachers
are the most fortunate of all civil servants,
regarding holidays.
